May 20th the 1st annual John Howard Biathlon will take place at New Town St. Charles. The race is a 3 mile run followed by a 18 mile bike.
I just received an email that they are offering a two for one deal. Now it the event will only cost a person $25 vs. the normal $50.
From what I understand the run will be around the perimeter of New Town and the bike will be and out and back route yet to be determined. Looks like a fun place for a race.
