It just had to be done

Low temps pushed the Dogfish team ride back a week so I was left with that"what should I do now" plan. I knew I had 4 hours that had to be done and there was no way that was going to be done on the rollers. Even two great movies would not keep me there that long.

So I mentally prepped my self for the cold, took a page out of the Iowa gravel grinder book, got motivated by this post, then put on the layers for what ended up being an awesome 4 hour ride.

  1. Jeff - That looks like some fine riding. Nice hills. We are looking forward to 100 miles of gravel this Saturday with two snow storms and mostly below freezing temps between now and then.
    We'll see.

  2. You had to psych yourself up to ride in the country side with NO SNOW?!! I would be out there in a minute - 19 degrees with a real feel of 3 - not a problem - at least you had sunshine.
    Way to ride.

Basement HOP still happening here with the continual snow and sub-zero temps - sigh,

    Happy training to you,
