Jim from the Hermann Department of Tourism called me back last night. We had a good conversation about the ToM, he will be setting up a meeting in the next few weeks. to talk more about it Looking forward to where this will go.
We also talked about other cycling related topics for the area that could extend my involvement past the ToM. With the new bridge there will be a new trail that will cover the two miles from Hermann to the Katy Trail. Right now cyclists have to use hwy 19 to get here. Not all cyclists are comfortable with traffic, this trail will help bring more Katy Trail users into town.
We also talked a bit about other area rides that would like to come into Hermann and other ways to promote the great training roads in this area. Maybe someday soon we can get some of these on Hwy J, F, H, E, Z, Y, P.....
