Dogfish Training Ride

Today after many weeks of trying the weather cooperated and we were able to get the DogFish training ride in Hermann completed. Dennis, Ryan, Jeff, Jose, Casey and I headed out early on what ended up being like a warm summer day.

Ryan and Jeff from STL worked out two laps on the Tour of Hermann race route, while Jose, Dennis, Casey and I kept going for what ended be 70 miles.

Good ride guys!

  1. Hey Jeff,

Nice pictures - we too got some decent weather and got in group rides both days this week-end. LOTs of snow still on the ground.

While we are not able to match your 200 mile base weeks - we've got that Iowa Edge so we don't Have to!

Good job on your training and congratulations on your excellent race last week-end. You are inspiring to say the least!

    Ride on!

Jeff - good report. The hill climb picture is amazing - that's some hill.
John - living on the Edge

  3. Thanks Kat, all that snow you have this year reminds me of our first year in Iowa up in Mason, think snow was on the ground the entire winter.

John, that hill is 16% at its steepest point.
