Tour of Missouri Start Finish Announcement

Today others from Hermann and I made the trip to Jeff City for the press conference with Gov. Blunt, Lt. Gov. Kinder and many others associated with the Tour of Missouri. I thought the turnout was good as the room was full of city representation and media.

Obviously I'm excited about this year as Hermann was announced as a stage 6 start city. Tourism Director Jim Grebing and other city officials did alot of work to make this happen. Hats off to Hermann for placing laser like focus on cycling, working to make Hermann a place where cyclists can visit, feel welcome and enjoy some great riding.

More stuff coming up as I help, along with others, get Hermann ready for this.

Here is most of the press conference from today.

  1. Jeff,

Great job on the timely videos you just posted. They're very professional and hopefully you'll put your skills to use when the event rolls around.

  2. Jeff - congratulations to you and your community - I know it take a lot of work to put on the little piss ant events that Bike Tech Racing promotes - I can't imagine what you area in for, but I know you are the man to do it - whatever role you play.
