Tuesday Night TT

Good night for a TT. Bit cloudy but the temps were in the lower 70's. Started the night out with a 4 mile run on the Katy Trail.

New running shoes

At 5:30 I headed over the TT meeting spot where I was greeted by three other riders. Jose, Glenn and Joe were there ready to take on the Hermann TT.

Jose brought the black TT machine

Finished up with a time of 26:14, that's about 15 seconds faster than last time!

After the TT Jose and I laced up the running shoes and headed out for a 3 mile run. That will do it for me this week. I'll spend the rest of it resting up for Saturdays race.

Good time tonight, glad to see more than just Jose and I out there tonight.

  1. I first saw a Kuota bike in a TINY bike shop in Gap, France (2003). I think it was a Kuota Khan. It was SO sexy with all it curves and bends. Everytime I see a Kuota now I think of walking in that little shop and wondering what the hell a Kuota was.

You may want to tell Jose that he has his Hed3 on "backwards". The valve should be on the drive side with the leading edge of the wheels being the "fatter" side (and the trailing edge being the sharper side). Don't know if it makes much of a difference - but that is the way it's supposed to be.
