Sunday Ride

Much like last Sunday Dawndi and I headed out for a 4 mile run before my ride today.

At 11am it was just Jose and I for what turned out to be 55 miles at 18.20 mph. The wind was noticeable for most of the ride, seemed liked we had a head wind all day. The route was new to me, very scenic with out much traffic and few good hills at the beginning and the end.

The last 10 miles was the best. I was able to get a gap Jose on one of two big hills about 10 miles from home. I kept up a steady pace, got my gap then TT'd home.

Can't wait to hear about the Finchford race up north in Iowa......

  2. Finchford, up north was great. We had the best weather and a big turn out. Cedar Valley guys won the 5's, 3's, women's and 60+. And Bike Tech was very well represented.
I'll send you more and we ought to have something on the blog soon.
