Big time race at my front door

This should be a blast, looks like stage 5 of the Tour of Missouri will take hwy 94 from Jefferson City to St Charles on September 15th. Hwy 94 is just a few miles north of here. Those of us who ride here in Hermann ride on that road alot, great hills!
Sunday in STL looks like a great stage to watch too.

Do you really think they will take 94 the whole way? I don't know exactly where it gets hilly but it's boring for at least 12 miles outside of Jeff City.

I'd rather see them take Hwy 50, to Linn, Hermann, Washington and Augusta to St Chuck. That would be a good 110-115 miles.

  6. Hwy 94 is really just a guess. It gets hilly starting in Portland. Ride Across America took the hwy 94 route last year.

The info said they would travel through wine country, lots of them on hwy 94.

I can't wait to see the details.

Jeff - Are we going to see a Dogfish presence in the big race?

  8. Jeff - you may have to put me up for the night if the hotels are sold out, do you have any room for a bum like me? There's a free dinner in it for you and Dawndi!!
