Niner

That there is the lead group in the B race - photo courtesy of Action Images
  • I stayed with lead group for several laps
  • Group started to split up when a guy from UNC pulled ahead
  • I started to fade off the back playing a yo-yo game trying stay on
  • Eventually I fell off and was alone in 7th for a few laps
  • Jim K from Big Shark and another guy were chasing
  • They caught me, Jim first who was flying, then soon after the other guy
  • Now in 9th
  • Phil from Big Shark now behind me chasing
  • Last two laps he worked hard to catch, I worked hard to stay away
  • I kept my Niner

All in all an OK race. I felt good at the beginning of the race, faded near the middle then turned it up a bit near the end. Good job to everyone who raced, good times.

  2. I thought maybe you had a chance to catch your breath after being with the leaders so I went by on the downhill as quick as possible. The gap that opened up surprised me. You must have been a bit gassed.
